HOW WE GOT STARTED
“Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, Nathan’s passion for woodworking began early—sweeping floors in a family friend’s workshop at age twelve. He quickly moved from apprentice to craftsman, creating picture frames, shelves, and small furniture pieces using recycled materials. By eighteen, he met his future wife, Jenesse, and together they moved near Sacramento, where Nathan launched his first business. Over the years, he crafted custom pieces for clients in the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe, even having his work featured in the 2014 HGTV Dream Home in Truckee, CA.
In 2020, with three children in tow (and a fourth on the way), the Vaughan family made the bold move east to Greeneville, Tennessee. Trading the Pacific coast for the Appalachian foothills, they settled on a 30-acre farm and rebuilt their life—and business—from the ground up.
Since then, Nathan has earned a reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and top-tier quality across Tennessee and North Carolina. With over five years of happy clients in the Southeast, he’s known for working closely with homeowners—both locals and transplants—to bring their visions to life with custom furniture, kitchen cabinetry, and wood or composite decking.
Now a father of six, Nathan continues to pour the same care and attention to detail into every project that he brings into his own home. Each piece is a blend of form and function, built to last and crafted to reflect the unique story of the people it’s made for.”
